Since 2011, our mix of creative professionals has gained a reputation as a team who delivers design-led brilliance for web and print. Where we came from

Passing your degree course is an achievement. Having it validated by the Royal College of Art is an honour. That’s how our Director, Simon Edwin, felt in 1998 as he left Ravensbourne University before stepping into the world of graphic design in London.

Cutting his teeth in design for print for three years – creating layout designs for annual reports for FTSE 100 companies and loyalty magazines for British Airways, Sainsbury’s, and O2 – Simon returned to his South West roots in 2001.

Stepping up – first as a Senior Designer, then as Design Director, both successful roles in other local agencies – he honed his all-important design, digital, and management skills over the next decade.

In 2011, seeking the holy grail of work/life balance, Simon took the leap into freelance life. He then spent the next two and a half years building a successful business from his loft. With a change in mind, an idea of collaborating with like-minded pros with skills in complementary creative areas took shape. And the seeds of Studiose were planted…
